TAX NOTICE
April 1. 1960 is the deadline for filing
your City of Forest Park taxes.
Anyone owning a house, lot, acreage,
automobile, motor, boat, trailer, truck,
motorcycle or other vehicles is required
to make a City tax return.
A 10*7, penalty will be added for mak
ing returns after April Ist.
In order to avoid a property owner
from being detained, it is advisable for
you to make your returns early.
The tax office is open each day from
8:00 A M until 5:00 P.M. and from 8:00
AM. until 12 noon each Saturday. There
will always be someone in the Tax of
ficc to assist you in any way to help

1. Petitioner- desire for themselves,
their associates, and successors, to be in

THE OPTIMIST CLUB OF JONESBORO.

2. That said corporation is formed for
social, civic and charitable purposes and
not for pecuniary gain or profit to itself
or its membeis. No member of said cor
poration shall at any time have any
vested right or interest of any kind or
character, in or to any of the property oi
assets which said corporation now has. or
may hereafter acquire. There* shall be no
capital stock.
3. The purpose for which said corpora
tion is formed shall be:
a. To render constructive civic services
for the promotion of the general welfare
of the boys of Clayton County. Georgia.

objectives of said corporation, they shall

fund raising projects of various types
kinds, for the exclusive benefit ami usr
of said corporation; and to have all the

after be given by law.
5. Petitioners further desire that by
laws of the corporation shall be adopted
by the members, and such by-laws shall
provide for the offici i s of the corpora
tion, the manner of their selection and
such other rules appropriate to by-law

eluding provisions whereby the by-laws
may be amended

1.
Petitioners desire for themselves, their
associates and successors to be incor
porated under the name of
DOGWOOD MOBILE HOME SALES, INC.
2.
The purpose of said corporation shall
be pecuniary gain and profit.
3.
The general nature of the business to
be conducted shall be to engage in the
business of purchasing, acquiring, own
ing. leasing, selling, transferring, fi
nancing. encumbering, generally dealing
in. repairing, renovating and servicing
all types of new and used automobile
house trailers and any parts or acces
sories used in connection therewith. Said
corporation shall have full power, for its
corporate business purposes, to take, buy,
exchange, lease, sell, improve and en
cumber real estate; to borrow money,
and from time to time. make, accept, en
dorse, execute and issue bonds, deben
tures. promissory notes, bills of exchange
or other obligations of the corporation
for monies borrowed or in payment for
property acquired or for any of the other
objects and purposes of the corporation
or its business, and to secure the pay
ment of any such obligation by mort
gage. pledge, deed, indenture, agreem* l
or other instrument of trust, or by other
lien upon, assignment of. or agreements
in regard to all or any part of the prop
erty. rights or pledges of the corpora
tion; to lend money on such terms as
the stockholders and directors shall, from
time to time, determine: to enter into
partnerships with individuals, firms, as
sociations, partnerships or other corpora
tions; to guarantee, become surety upon,
or endorse the contracts or obligations
of any other person, firm, association,
partnership or corporation, without re
gard to whether the corporation has any
interest in the contract or obligation so
guaranteed, endorsed, or upon which it
becomes surety: and in general to do any
and all of the things herein set forth to
the same extent as natural persons
might or could do and in any part of
the world, as principals, agents, trustees,
partners, or otherwise, within and with
out the State of Georgia: and to per
form any and all acts connected with
the above or arising therefrom or inci
dental thereto, and all acts proper or
necessary for the purpose of the busi
ness. or conducive to its best interest.
4.
The maximum number of shares of
stock shall be One Hundred Thousand
(100.000». all of which shall be common
stock with a par value of One Dollar
<$1.00) per share.
5.
The amount of capital with which the
corporation shall begin doing business
shall be Five Thousand Dollars i $5,000 •.
The corporation shall be authorized,
upon a majority vote of the holders of
the outstanding stock, to issue additional
shares up to the maximum number of
shares authorized, and upon a vote to
issue additional stock, the stockholders
may also eliminate their preemptive
rights to such additional issue or issues.
6.
Said corporation shall have existence
for a period of thirty-five <3s> years,
with the right of revival and renewal
from time to time as now or hereafter
provided by law.
7.
The principal office of the corporation
shall be in Clayton County. Georgia,
with the privilege of establishing other
offices and places of business within or
without the State of Georgia.
8.
The corporation shall have all the
rights, powers, privileges and immunities
which may be conferred upon like cor
porations by the laws of the State of
Georgia, including, but not limited to
all of the rights, power and immunities
set out in the Corporation Act of 1938,
as codified in Sections 22-1827 and
22-1828 of the Georgia Code Annotated,
as amended, as fully and to the same
extent as if the same were herein set
out in full.
9.
Petitioners exhibit herewith a Cer
tificate of the Secretary of State of
Georgia, as required by Section 22-1803
of the Georgia Code Annotated.
WHEREFORE, Petitioners pray that
they be incorporated and that a charter
be granted to them under the name and
style aforesaid, with the rights, powers,
privileges and immunities above set out.
