The petition of MARVIN E. JOHNSON,
R. J. LIPSHUTZ, and G. ROBERT OLI
VER. hereinafter called petitioners, re
spectfully shows:
Petitioners desire for themselves, their
associates and successors to be incorpo
rated under the name of JOHNSON
CONSTRUCTION CORP., for a period of
thirty-five (35i years with the privilege
of renewal.

The object of said corporation is pe
cuniary gain.
3.
The general nature of the business or
businesses to be transacted is as follows;
The construction, engineering/ erection,
repairing and remodeling of buildings
and structures of all types, including
residences, apartments, stores, ware
houses, and office buildings, for itself
and others; and the doing of all kinds
of public works, including grading and
paving of roads, sidewalks, and highways,
the laying of water mains and sewers
and installation of gas and electricity
and other public services; and the buy
ing. selling, exchanging, leasing, subdi
viding and improving of real estate; to
purchase, borrow, lease as lessor or
lessee, mortgage, rent, lend, exchange,
transfer, sell and otherwise deal in real,
personal and intangible property of all
kinds and entire business entities; to
borrow and lend money; and. as an ac
commodation. or otherwise, to guarantee
or become surety on any obligation; with
all the usual and necessary services for
itself and others in the aforesaid busi
ness and all other business related there
to.

poration be vested with all of the rights
and powers now or hereafter given Io
do any and all things which may be rea
sonable or proper in the operation of the
above-described business or businesses,
and that said corporation have all of the
powers enumerated in Sections 22-1827
and 22-1828, Georgia Code Annotated,
and such powers as may hereafter be
•iven by law.

The maximum number of shares of
stock shall be One Hundred (100). all
of which shall be without par value. The
amount of capital with which the cor-

ess than Two Hundred ($200.00) Dollars.

Georgia, as provided by Section 22-1803,
Georgia Code Annotated.
WHEREFORE, your petitioners pray
to be incorporated under the name and
style aforesaid with all the rights, pow
ers, privileges and immunities herein set
forth, and such additional rights, powers
and privileges as may be necessary,
proper or incident to the conduct of the
business aforesaid and as may be in
herent in, or allowed to, like corporation
under the laws of the State of Georgia

nership. composed of D. E. Workman,
and J. C. Daniel, has been dissolved by
mutual consent, of said parties as of

"Proposal for Road Construction". Coun
ty and Number, and show the time of
opening as advertised. Check of the low
bidder will be cashed and all other
checks will be returned as soon as the
contract is awarded, unless it is deemed
advisable by the Authority to hold one
or more checks If an unusual condition
arises, the Authority reserves the right
to cash all checks. Bidders Bond will not
be accepted.
A charge of $5.00 will bo made for
each proposal issued.
Such a bond will be required of the
successful bidder as required by law for
contractors contracting with the State
Highway Department of Georgia.
Contracts will not be awarded to con
tractors who have not been placed on
the list of qualified contractors prior to
the date of award. No proposals will be
issued to any bidder later than 9 A.M.
Eastern Standard Time of the date of
opening bids. *
All bids must show totals for each item
and total of amount of bid. Right is re
served to delay the award of the con
tract for a period of not to exceed
thirty (30) days From the date of open
ing bids, during which period bids shall
remain open and not subject Io with
drawal. Right is reserved to reject any
and all bids and to waive all formalities.
Upon compliance with the require
ments of the standard specifications,
ninety (90) percent of the amount, of
work done in any calendar month will
be paid for by the 25th day of the suc
ceeding month, and the remainder with
in thirty (30) days after final estimate
