Propes, the second grade teacher
in Lee Street School, fell and
broke her jaw bone on Friday
and was carried to Georgia Bap
tist Hospital.

son, spent the week-end with
her parents, Mr. and Mrs. H. H.

The Friendship
Club Has Regular
Monthly Meeting
The January meeting of the
Friendship Club was held at the
home of Evelyn Hankins with
10 members present and a new
member, Mrs. Ted White.
Our president, Janet Nunn,
opened the meeting with devo
tion. The club voted to keep the
same projects we had last year
and several amendments were
made for our by-laws.
Our hostess served delicious
refreshments after which the
club members enjoyed take
away bingo.

Starnes, Elovoyce Greer, Janet

Civic Club Has
January Meeting
The Stage Coach Civic Club
held their regular monthly
meeting Tuesday, January 24, at
the Walter Estes home, Mocking
Bird Hill. Some 17 members en
joyed the lovely home and the
hospitality of the wonderful
hosts.
Plans were discussed to com
mence building the Community
House which has been under
discussion some time, and which
when completed will be a de
cided asset to the community.
