for the physically handicapped in Ful
ton, Cobb, clayton and DeKalb Counties,
and adjacent counties in Georgia, and
adjacent States. Petitioners recognize
that the physically handicapped can not
participate in sports on an equal basis,
out believe that their participation in
sports can be beneficial to them physi
cally and mentally, and that said par
ticipation further provides an outlet for
ihe expression and aims of the physi
cally handicapped and is useful in help
ing them achieve and assist others in
acnieving social betterment, and that
their participation further provides an
agency through which the handicapped
citizens can peel their energies to accom
plish greater progress for the commu
nity.
4.
Petitioners shall primarily be engaged
in the playing of Wheelchair Basketball,
and will participate in games and con
ferences ot the physically handicapped
on a state, regional, and/or National
basis. Petitioners may, at the discre
tion of their Board of Directors, par
ticipate in any type sport or game,
should they aesire to do so.
8.
No part of the property of the corpo
ration or any receipts of money that
may come into its hands shall ever at
any time innure to the benefit of any
private individual, firm or corporation,
out the corporation shall have power to
employ ana pay for the services of all
necessary clerical and executive person
nel to carry out the aims of the Cor
poration.
6.
Petitioners desire the right for the
corporation to own, lease and control
reai estate as well as the power and au
thority to accept gift and contribution
in any form they may be made for the
purpose of promoting the objects of the
corporation, and all such gifts and con
tributions so made shall oe devoted to
and used for and in all respects admin
isterea to achieve the objects of the cor
poration as herein set out.
7.
The governing body of the corpora
tion shall consist of a Board of Direc
tors. Several of the Incorporators herein
shall be among the first members of the
Board of Directors. Said Board shall
consist of a number of persons to be
fixed by the Board of Directors in the
adoption of By-Laws, who shall provide
for the filling of vacancies on the board,
the terms ot office of the board members
and me manner of selection thereof.

The Board ’of Directors shall have to
power to adopt all rules, by-laws and
regulations for the government of the
corporation consistent with its charter
ana applicable laws of the state.

Petitioners desire for themselves, their
associates and successors to be incor
porated under the name of "EMPIRE
HOME BUILDERS, INC.”.

The object of said corporation is pe
cuniary gain and profit.

The general nature of the business or
businesses to be transacted is as follows:
