SALE AND SECURITY DEED
GEORGIA
CLAYTON COUNTY
By reason of a default in the payment
of the monthly installments due under
the terms of the note there will be sold
by the undersigned in front of the Court
House Door in Clayton County, Georgia,
on the first Tuesday in March, 1964,
during legal hours of sale to the high
est bidder for cash, the following de
scribed real property, to-wit:
All that tract or parcel of land lying
and being in Land Lot 49 of the 13th
District, Clayton County, Georgia, being
in the City of Forest Park, Georgia, and
more particularly described as follows:
BEGINNING at a point on the East
side of College Street 200 feet North of
the Northeast corner of College Street
and Main Street said point of bginning
being at the Northwest corner of prop
erty now or formerly owmed by S. S.
Canada; thence running North along the
East side of College Street 51,4 feet;
thence running East 219 feet, more or
less, to the West line of property now
or formerly owned by Otis Richardson;
thence running South along the West
line of the Richardson property 51.4 feet;
thence West 211 feet, more or less, to
College Street, and the point of begin
ning; this being improved property with
a house thereon known as No. 100 Col

To the Superior Court of said County:
The petition of Roland T. Reeves, Jr.,
Grace Ann P. Reeves, of 3437 Hyland
Drive, Decatur, Georgia; Wayne M.
Heyer and Mary G. Heyer, of 1419 Centra
Villa Drive, S. W., Atlanta, Georgia,
hereinafter called petitioners, respect
fully shows:
1.
Petitioners desire for themselves, their
associates and successors, to be incorpo
rated and made a body corporate under
the name and style of
“ALUMINUM ENGINEERS,
INCORPORATED"
2.
The object of said corporation is pe
cuniary gain and profit.
3.
The general nature of the business to
be conducted and transacted by said cor
poration shall be the manufacture, fab
rication, assembly, sale at wholesale
and retail, and the installation of alum
inum and other types of metal awnings,
canopies and carports; the manufacture,
fabrication, assembly, sale, and installa
tion of aluminum, glass and other types
of store fronts and display fronts; the
construction, erection, repairing and re
modeling of buildings and structures of
all types, including residences, apart
ments, stores, warehouses, and office
buildings for itself and others: and to
do any and all acts and things necessary,
convenient, expedient, ancillary or in
aid to the accomplishment of the fore
going.

Petitioners further desire that said
corporation shall exercise any or all the
powers conferred upon corporations
under the provisions of Sections 22-1827
and 22-1828 of the Georgia Code An
notated, and shall have in addition
thereto all the rights, powers, privileges,
and immunities conferred upon similar
corporations by and under the laws of
the State of Georgia now in existence or
hereafter enacted.
5.
The authorized capital stock of said
corporation shall be 1,000 shares of com-

per share. However, said corporation
shall begin business with not less than
$3,000.00 paid in capital. The corpora
tion shall be authorized to issue addi
tional shares up to the maximum sum
above stated, and thereafter, from time
to time, to reduce the amount of capital
outstanding, but not below the minimum
above stated, and all this, upon a ma
jority vote of the Board of Directors,
approved by a two-thirds majority vote
of the stockholders.
6.
The time for which the corporation
shall have its existence shall be thirty
five (351 years with the privilege of
renewal of the charter from time to time
upon the expiration of said periods of
thirty-five (35) years.
7.
The principal office of said corpora
tion shall be located in Clayton County,
Georgia, but petitioners desire the priv
ilege of establishing such branch offices
and places of business both within and
without the State of Georgia as in the
judgment of its Board of Directors may
seem appropriate.
8.
Petitioners further desire that by-laws
of the corporation shall be adopted by
the common stock holders, and such by
laws shall provide for the officers of the
corporation, the manner of their selec
tion, and such other rules appropriate
to by-laws which have as their purpose
the control and management of the cor
poration, including provisions whereby
the by-laws may be amended.
9.
Your petitioners exhibit herewith a
Certificate of Secretary of the State of
Georgia as required by Section 22-1803
of the Code of Georgia Annotated (Geor
gia Laws 1937-38 Ex. Sess., page 214 et
seq.).
Wherefore, petitioners pray to be in
corporated under the name and style
aforesaid, with all the rights, privileges
and immunities herein set forth and
such additional rights, powers and privi
leges as may be necessary, proper or
incidental to the conduct of the business
aforesaid and as may be inherent in or
allowed to like corporations under the
laws of the State of Georgia, as they
now exist or may hereafter exist.

DAIRY, INC.’.

The object of said corporation is pe
cuniary gain and profit.

The general nature of the business to
be transacted is: To carry on the busi
ness of farming, dairying, and of pro
ducing, merchandising, manufacturing
and preserving all kinds of farm, dairy
and meat products, and to carry on all
other business incident to the business
of dairy farming or connected therewith,
either directly or incidentally; to pro
duce, purchase, sell, trade and deal in
fresh milk and all the products of milk;
to manufacture, purchase, lease, sell and
use all machinery, tools, implements,
cans, bottles, cases, apparatus and all
other articles and appliances used in

operatives and /or associations organized
for the furtherance of dairy production

Petitioners further desire the said cor
poration be vested with all of the rights
and powers now or hereafter given to do
any and all things which may be need
ful or proper in the operation of the
above described business, and that the
said corporation have all the powers
enumerated in Sections 22-1827 and
22-1828. Georgia Code Annotated, and
such powers as may hereafter be given
by law.

The maximum number of shares of
stock shall be five hundred (500) shares
rs the par value of One Hundred
($100.00) Dollars per share, all of which
shall be common stock. However, the
amount of capital with which the cor
poration shall begin business shall be
not less than Five Thousand ($5,000.00*
Dollars. The corporation shall be au
thorized to issue additional shares of
stock up to the maximum sum above
mentioned and thereafter from time to
time to reduce the amount of capital
outstanding, but not below the minimum
above mentioned.
6.
The time for which the corporation is
to have existence is thirty-five (35)

WHEREAS on July 25, 1946, Hugh
David Hardeman executed and delivered
to Atlanta Federal Savings and Loan
Association a promissory note for the
principal sum of $7,250.00, bearing in
terest from date at the rate of 4% per
annum, payable in monthly installments
of $45.01 each, the first of said install
ments coming due January 25, 1947, and
one installment maturing on the same
day of each successive month thereafter
until the entire indebtedness evidenced
by said note had been paid in full. Said
note further provided that each monthly
installment shall be applied, first, to any
interest due and the remainder of said
installment shall be applied to the pay
ment of the principal of said note; and
WHEREAS in order to secure said
note Hugh David Hardeman on July 25,
1946, executed and delivered to Atlanta
Federal Savings and Loan Association
a deed to secure debt which is recorded
in Deed Book 48, Page 23 in Clayton
County, Georgia, by the terms of which
deed he conveyed to Atlanta Federal
Savings and Loan Association as security
for the promissory note above described
the following described property; and
WHEREAS said deed to secure debt
provided, among other things, that
should Hugh David Hardeman fail to
pay any installments due according to
the terms of said note as the same may
become due and payable, then and in
that event the entire indebtedness re
maining unpaid and secured by said loan
deed, with all arrearages of interest
thereon, shall at once become due; and
WHEREAS Hugh David Hardeman
failed and refused to pay the install
ment on said note which became due
on January 25, 1964; and
WHEREAS on January 30, 1964, At
lanta Federal Savings and Loan Asso
ciation transferred and assigned said in-
debtedness and the deed to secure debt
above described, together with all powers
therein contained to Ken Doss, which
transfer and assignment is recorded in
Deed Book 334 Page 523, Clayton Coun
ty, Georgia.
Now’, therefore, in consideration of the
premises and because of default in pay
ment of the installment on said note
which became due and payable January
25. 1964, the undersigned Ken Doss,
acting pursuant to the power conferred
by the said deed to secure debt has de
clared and now declares all of said in
debtedness due and payable, and pur
suant to the power contained in said
deed to secure debt will sell to the high
est bidder for cash at public auction
before the Court House door of Clayton
County. Georgia, within the legal hours
of sale on the first Tuesday in March,
1964. the following described property,

and in land lot 6 of the 13th District
of Clayton County. Georgia, being lot

1963, and recorded in Deed Book 317.

Court of Clayton County, there will be
sold at oublic outcry, before the door
of the Court House of said State and
County, by said West Lumber Company,
during the legal hours of sale, on the
first Tuesday in March, 1964. to the
highest bidder for cash, the following
described property, to-wit:

livered by W. C. GRIFFIN to H. F.
LEATHERS. JR. dated December 16,
i 960, recorded in Deed Book 232, page
292, Clayton County Records, there will
be sold at public outcry before the Court
House door in said State and County
by H. F. Leathers, Jr., during the legal
hours of sale on the first Tuesday in
March, 1964. to the highest bidder, for
cash, the following described property,
to-wit:
All that tract or parcel of land lying
and being in Land Lot 150 of the 12th
District of Clayton County, Georgia,
being Lot 1 in Block B of Pine Brook

is serving aboard the submarine
USS Dogfish, an Atlantic Fleet
unit currently on four months
deployment with the Sixth Fleet
in the Mediterranean.
The Dogfish left her home
port, New London, Conn., Jan. 7
to begin the cruise to the Medi
terranean. She had been berthed
at New London since late Novem
ber in preparation for the Sixth
Fleet assignment.

Mrs. Mary Rutledge
Announces for
School Board Post
Mrs. Rutledge, wife of John A.
Rutledge, official with Advanced
Tool and Die Engineering Co.
has qualified as a candidate for
school board member from the
Riverdale district. Election will
be held April 4.
Mrs. Rutledge is a graduate of
Roosevelt High School. Since
graduation she attended college
for four years and had additional
training at West Georiga in Car
rollton. She has been a resident
of Georgia for 17 years and a
citizen of Riverdale for six years.
She is a member of The First
Baptist Church at Riverdale. The
Eastern Star, and the Riverdale
PTA. At present she is on the ad
visory board of the Order of
Rainbow Girls and treasurer of
the Riverdale PTA. She has
taught school for eleven years in
public school. Mr. and Mrs. Rut
ledge have two children who at
tend Clayton schools.

voters, Mrs. Rutledge offers the

her qualifications for member
ship on the school board. She
