corporation shall begin business will be
not less than $200.00, which may be paid

munities that are now, or hereafter may
be, granted by the laws of Georgia to
similar corporations.

The principal office and place of busi
ness of the corporation shall be in Clay
ton County, Georgia, with the privilege

Any sale, transfer, assignment or other
disposition of stock in this corporation
shall be subject to such provisions there
on as may be from time to time provided
in the By-Laws of the corporation.
WHEREFORE, petitioners pray to be
incorporated for a period of thirty-five
(35) yearz as a private corporation under
the name and style aforesaid, with all
powers, privileges and immunities which
are now or may hereafter be provided
by law for like corporations.

We the undersigned members of the Ladies Auxiliary of
the Mountain View Volunteer Fire Department, do hereby
protest the recent action of the Mayor and Council of Forest
Park and Mountain View, whereby the Forest Park Fire De
partment is to provide fire protection for the citizens of
Mountain View. ;
We have a very capable and adequate fire department,
and have been furnishing fire protection in a very effective
manner for our citizens for some time, and will continue to
do so without the interference of the Mayor and Council of
our two cities.

Clayton County Water Authority at the
Water Authority office in Jonesboro,
Georgia, until 1:30 P.M., March 19, 1964,
for furnishing all labor, materials and
equipment for the construction of cer
tain Sanitary Sewers, at which time and
place they will be publicly opened and
read aloud.

The work consists of the complete con
struction and placing into permanent
service of approximately 3,170 L.F. of
10”7, and 4,970 L.F. of 8" sanitary sewer
with all manholes, appurtenances, con
nections, etc., as required to make the
installation complete. One contract,
herein identified as Contract No. 1, will
be awarded covering all the work.
Time is of utmost importance in this
contract. The successful bidder will be
required to make every effort to com
pd:te the work in the least possible
time.
Plans, Specifications and Contract
Documents are open to the public at
the Water Authority office in Jonesboro
and at the office of Robert and Company
Associates, Architects and Engineers.
Copies may be secured from Robert and
Company Associates, 96 Poplar Street,
N.W., Atlanta 3, Georgia, upon payment
of Twenty-Five Dollars ($25.00). Ten
Dollars ($10.00) of each deposit will be
refunded to each bidder upon return of
all documents in good condition within
ten (10) days after opening of bids.
Bids must be accompanied by a cer
tified check or bid bond in an amount
of not less than five percent (5%) of the
amount bid.- A contract performance
bond and a payment bond equal to 100%
of the contract price will be required
of the Contractor.
No bid may be withdrawn for a period
of thirty (30) days after the scheduled
time for receiving bids.
The Water Authority reserves the
right to reject any or all bids, to waive
informalities and to re-advertise.
