Georgia News Network
Is Entering Third Year
On July 2, the Georgia News
Network begins its third year.
The Georgia News Network com
bines the news gathering fa
cilities of 17 Georgia radio sta
tions into a unique and compre
hensive state-wide vehicle for
the gathering and dissemination
of Georgia News. This is the way
it works. In the studios of WGST
is a “telephone secretary” which
records on tape reports from the
staff members of the network
stations. These reports are ac
tualities — up - to - the - minute
news in the voices of the people
involved from the spot in Geor
gia where it is happening. Bernie

Remember December?
Comfort and convenience snowball when
you install flameless electric cooling and
heating in your home.
June heralds summer. And if you’re buy
ing, building or remodeling, this is the time
to remember December and install a flame
less electric heat pump.
It’s so carefree! Only one unit, one ther
mostat-setting, and you enjoy the best in
year-round air conditioning. In summer
you get just the right hint of brisk Decem
ber air precisely at your selected tempera
ture. As winter approaches, this same unit
maintains your comfort by automatically
reversing its cycle to deliver even, dust
free heat.
And the heat pump uses only flameless
electricity, so economical with our special
low rate for total-electric customers. If
summer comes, can winter be far behind?
Not usually, but Georgians who enjoy the
advantages of total-electrie living hardly
know the seasons have changed.

Factors in this survival and
