I RIVERDALE BAPTIST I
OPPOSE LIQUOR ISSUE
The members of the First Baptist Church of Riverdale, Georgia, are I
■ opposed to the sale or consumption of alcoholic beverages in any I
I form. We are also opposed to any attempt by any group to call for a I
■ referendum as Io whether or not Clayton County will be engaged in the I
I liquor business. We are further opposed to any attempt by those seek- I
I ing the referendum for their own interest to “wash their hands” of I
I the matter by saying we will be given a “lax break”. We know this is I
I not true.
In conference on September 16,1964, the church voted to go on I
I record as beng unalterably opposed to alcoholic beverages and to any I
I attempt to call a referendum for the purpose of “legalizing” liquor in I
I Clayton County.
Done by the membership of the First Baptist Church of Riverdale, I
I Georgia, in conference on September 16, 1964.

Os the many ways to protect
property, one of the best and
least expensive is the electric
dusk-to-dawn
security light
As little as $4 a month can protect you.
That pays for everything — installation,
maintenance, lamp replacement, electricity.
This mercury-vapor lamp is really an
“individual street light.” It brightens the
night in rural, suburban and urban areas,
for home, farm, business or industry.
And this security light is automatic. A
photoelectric cell turns the light on at
dusk and off at dawn. There’s nothing for
you to remember. Nothing you might for
get. The light discourages vandals, pro
tects your property, lengthens your day.
The nights are getting longer. Order your
security light from our office nearest you.
