Whereas, heretofore on January
10, 1966, William P. Driver, did exe
cute to Modern Homes Construction
Company, a Florida Corporation, a
certain security deed to the follow
ing described land:
All that tract or parcel of land
lying and being in Land Lots 20
and 21 of the 13th District of Clay
ton County, Georgia, being lots 17
and 18, Block 13, Maxwelton Sub
division, according to Plat by W. J.
Lee, Engineer, dated September 13,
1900, and restaked by Watts and
Browning, Engineers, dated April
1950, recorded in Plat Book 3, Page
9, Clayton County Records, and
being more particularly described as
follows:
Said lots beginning at an iron pin
on the west side of Dodson Avenue,
70 feet north from the northwest
corner of the intersection of Bla
lock Street and Dodson Avenue; end
thence running west along the south
side of Lot 16, Block 13, a distance
of 158 feet to an iron pin; thence
running south along the east side
of Lots 8 and 9 Block 13, a distance
of 70 feet to an iron pin on the
north side of Blalock Street; being
the distance across ‘he backs of
Lots 17 and 18, Block 13; thence
running east along the north side
of Blalock Street a distance of 158
feet to an iron pin at the north
west corner of the intersection of
Blalock Street and Dodson Avenue;
thence running north along the west
side of Dodson Avenue a distance of
70 feet to an iron pin, being the dis
tance across the front of Lots 17
and 18, Block 13, the POINT OF
BEGINNING.
To secure a note of even date
therewith for $11,488.32, all as
shown by a security deed recorded
in the Office of the Clerk of the
Superior Court of Clayton County,
Georgia, in Book 422, page 750-751;
and
Whereas, said note has become in
default as to principal, and the
undersigned elects that the entire
note become due at once;
Now, therefore, according to the
. original terms of said security deed
and the laws in such cases made
and provided, the undersigned will
expose for sale to the highest and
best bidder for cash the above-de
scribed land, after proper advertise
ment, on the first Tuesday in April,
between the legal hours of sale be
fore the courthouse door in Jones
boro, Clayton County, Georgia. The
proceeds from said sale will be used,
first to the payment of said note
and expenses, and the balance, if
any, delivered to the said William
P. Driver.

On June 11, 1966, John G. Hale
executed a Note for Two Thousand
Five Hundred Thirty-Seven and
76/100 i $2,537.76) Dollars, payable
to Wilbur B. Massey and Joann
Massey, which note was payable in
48 monthly installments of $52.87
each, commencing on the 15th day
of July, 1966, and on the same day
of each month thereafter until fully
paid. In order to secure the pay
ment of said note, the said John G.
Hale executed a Deed to Secure
Debt in favor of Wilbur B. Massey
and Joann Massey, subject to a
prior security deed in favor of At
lanta Federal Savings & Loan As
sociation, recorded in Deed Book
351, page 40, in the office of the
Clerk of the Superior Court of
Clayton County, Georgia, the said
deed to secure debt from John G.

The above described deed to se

Under the express terms and con
ditions contained in the aforesaid
deed to secure debt from John G.
Hale to Wilbur B. Massey and Joann
Massey, said Wilbur B. Massey and
Joann Massey have the right to sell
the above described property upon
failure of the grantor to meet the
payments as provided in said note
and to comply with the terms as
contained in the aforesaid deed to
secure debt, after advertising same
once a week for four weeks in a
newspaper published in the county
where the land lies, or in the news
paper in which the sheriff’s adver
tisement for such county are pub
lished.
Said note has not been paid as
provided for therein and is now in
default, and the terms and provi
sions contained in said deed to se
cure debt have not been complied
with, and by virtue of the powers
contained in the aforesaid Deed to
Secure Debt, said Wilbur B. Mas
sey and Joann Massey will sell the
above described property at public
outcry on the first Tuesday in April
1967, in front of the courthouse door
in Clayton County, Georgia, within
the legal hours of sale, subject to
said security deed in favor of At
lanta Federal Savings and Loan As

their associates and successors, to
be incorporated under the name of
"SAUNDERS SOUTHERN SALES,
INC."

The object of said corporation is
pecuniary gain and profit.

The general nature of the busi
ness or businesses to be transacted
is that as a manufacturers' repre
sentative in the sale of beauty and
barber supplies and allied products,
and to do all things incident to the
