AIRMOBILE SOLDIERS whirl into combat in fleets of
helicopters, making them the fastest, hardest-hitting
fighting men on any battlefield. The story of these AIR
MOBILE SOLDIERS and their heli-borne tactical approach
to the enemy-infested terrain of South Viet Nam is told
in a nation-touring U. S. Army exhibit coming to Atlanta,
Ga., April 10-11-12, 1967. Aptly called THE AIRMOBILE
SOLDIER, the helicopter-shaped exhibit will be on dis
play free at Georgia Power Co. building throughout its
three-day appearance in Atlanta, Ga.—(U.S. Army Photo.)

THE AIRMOBILE SOL
DIER, the U. S. Army's na
tion-touring exhibit on to
day’s heli-borne fighting
men in South Vietnam, will
appear in Atlanta, Ga., 10-
11-12, April 1967.
The exhibit will be lo
cated at Georgia Power Co.
Building during its 3-day
showing in Atlanta.
As interesting in design
as it is timely in subject,
the helicopter—shaped dis
play tells the story of mod
ern Army “sky soldiers”
whose tactical use of heli
copters enables them to hit
the enemy hard, fast and
often—anywhere on the bat
tlefield.
A color motion picture
documentary filmed during
actual airmobile operations
in South Vietnam is featured
in one part of the exhibit.
Backing up the motion pic
ture are many combat
photographs of Airmobile
Soldiers in action against
North Vietnamese regulars
and Viet Cong insurgents.
Highlighting the fast
paced exhibit is a special
“Diorama Theater.”
At this 3-D theater visi
tors will be whisked to the
rugged central highlands of
South Vietnam to join Air
mobile Soldiers on a heli
borne search and destroy
mission against dug-ln ene
my troops.
THE AIRMOBILE SOL
DIER was produced by the
U. S. Army Exhibit Unit at
Cameron Station, Virginia.
It is being toured through
out the United States by the
Office, Chief of Information,
Department of the Army.
All showings of THE AIR
MOBILE SOLDIER are open
to the public without charge.
The town of Bob White,
West Va., was named for the
bird.

THE COFFEEIoAN
[COULD YOU USE ONE?]
This is a typical sight around the bank most any work day around 10:15. The coffee
table temporarily replaces the loan desk for a few minutes while we relax and often
chat with visiting customers about a loan to buy a car, fix the house, or any of the
thousand and one other reasons for needing extra money.
But, most of the time you'll find us busy manning our posts at the loan desk waiting
to serve our friends. If you can use a loan, why not drop by and see us. (If you like
coffee, make it about 10:15.)

If You Knew Your Need,
Would You Make It Profitable to You?
(Number 12)
The world's great fundamental need is to
rise above the evil that is in it. If men would
open their hearts so that they could be filled
with the good that comes through obedi
ence to Christ, evil would be swallowed up
by the good. Woe to the inhabitors of the
earth, and the sea, for the devil is come
down unto you having great wrath, because
he knoweth that he hath but a short time.
Rev. 12:12. The devil is the author of all
the evil that is in the world, but it is through
those who become his children by their evil
ways that the woes of evil are multiplied in
the earth. Good is of God, and those who
do good are his children, because their ways
are God's ways. God only is good; all the
goodness of men is borrowed from God, as it
were, therefore we should not honor men for
their goodness; we should honor God, the ab
solute goodness, the absolute truth, the ab
solute in regard to all that is. He is the I AM
THAT I AM. God sent Christ to remove the
veil, thus giving us a knowledge of God, and
all things that pertain to life and godliness
through the knowledge of him who hath
called us to glory and virtue (goodness).
Whereby are given unto us exceeding great
and precious promises, that by these ye
might be partakers of the divine nature (the
perfection of God) 2 Peter 1:3-4. God es
tablished the church, the plan and formula
of which is that which will make men good.
Followed to the letter, it will make men per
fect, even as he is perfect. Be ye therefore
perfect even as he is perfect, Matt. 5:48. Be
cause the evil in the world is attributable to
the devil, men should not hate men because
they are evil, they should hate the devil who
leads, persuades, and provokes men to evil,
and seek to rescue them from his power. It
is profitable for men to desire and seek the
favor of their fellowmen, and it is a glory to
us when we manifest an interest in them
worthy to gain their favor; but the favor of
men is not the true or the highest glory we
can reach. Let him that glorieth glory in this,
that he understandeth and knoweth me, that
I am the Lord which exercise lovingkindness,
judgment, and righteousness, in the earth:

for in these things I delight, saith the Lord.
Jer. 9:24. The prospect for glory and profit
in the Lord ought to be preeminently in the
mind of men. It was preeminently in Paul's
mind when he said, "I count not myself to
have apprehended; but this one thing I do,
forgetting those things which are behind,
and reaching forth unto those things which
are before, I press toward the mark for the
prize of the high calling of God in Christ
Jesus." The lovingkindness, the judgment,
and the righteousness of our lives, and the
zeal with which we are pressing on to the
high calling of God, can delight God; but are
we? If we are neither hot or cold, but luke
warm, he will spue us out of his mouth. So
then, because thou art lukewarm, and nei
ther hot or cold, I will spue thee out of my
mouth. Rev. 3:16. We are urged to be dili
gent, "Examine yourselves, whether ye be in
the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye
not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ
is in you, except ye be reprobates?" 2 Cor.
13:5. We are told to examine ourselves
whether we be worthy before we partake of
the sacraments of Ihe Lord's Supper, But
let a man examine himself, and so let him
eat of that bread, and drink of that cup. For
he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eat
eth and drinkest damnation to himself, not
discerning the Lord's body, 1 Cor. 1 1:28-29.
If our examination finds lukewarmness, all
is not well; there is doubt that Jesus Christ
is in us, for there was no lukewarmness in
laying down his life for mankind. In laying
down his life for us he set an example that
is a delight to God, an example that he bids
us to follow. Giving all diligence adds to
your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge;
and to knowledge temperance; and to tem
perance patience; and to patience godliness;
and to godliness brotherly kindness; and to
brotherly kindness charity, for if these
things be in you and abound, they make
you that ye shall neither be barren or un
fruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus
Christ. 2 Peter 1:5 to 9. It is good to read
Psa. 1:1-2, Psa. 40:1 to 10, Psa. 119:14-15-
16-92-93, Prov. 8:35-36, Isa. 58:6 to 11.
