Petitioners desire for themselves,
their associates and successors to
be incorporated under the name of
"UNITED ELEVATOR
CORPORATION"
for a period of thirty-five <351 years,
with the privilege of renewal, from
time to time, upon the expiration
of 35 years.

The object of said corporation is
pecuniary gain and profit.

The general nature of the busi
ness is the design, manufacture
and sale, either wholesale or retail,
of elevator component parts or re
lated structural steel products; to
contract for the leasing of said
equipment: to acquire, hold, im
prove and trade in real estate, or
any rightful interests therein; and
to do any and all things necessary,
convenient, expedient, ancillary or
in aid to the accomplishment of the
foregoing.

Petitioners further desire that
said corporation be vested with all
the rights and powers now or here
after given to do any and all things
which may be needful or proper in
the operation of the above described
business, and that said corporation
have all the powers enumerated in
Sections 22-1827 and 22-1828, Geor
gia Code Annotated, and such
other powers as may hereinafter be
given by law.

The maximum number of shares
of stock shall be ten thousand (10,-
0001 of the par value of SIO.OO per
share, all of which shall be com
mon stock. However, the amount of
capital stock with which the cor
poration shall begin business win
not be less than $10,000.00. The
corporation shall be authorized to
issue additional shares up to the
maximum above stated, and there-
after. from time to time, to reduce
the amount of capital outstanding,
but not below the minimum above
stated, and all this upon a ma
jority vote of the Board of Direc
tors approved by a majority vote
of the stockholders.

The principal office and place of
business shall be in Clayton County,
Georgia, but petitioners desire the
privilege of establishing other places
of business within and without the
State of Georgia.?

The petition of QUICK GROCERY
COMPANY, a corporation organized
and existing under the laws of the
State of Georgia, shows to this Hon
orable Court the following facts,
to-wit:
1. That it was duly chartered as
a corporation by this Honorable
Court on the 29th day of April, 1964
and the charter was accepted by the
organizers of said corporation, and
since that time petitioner has func
tioned as a corporation, but has
since ceased doing business.
2. That it now desires to sur
render its franchise and charter as
a corporation and be dissolved by
proper order and decree of this
Honorable Court.

meeting of the stockholders called

issued and outstanding, resolving

LAKE CITY ELECTION
The City of Lake City, Georgia
will hold a regular election on De
cember 13, 1967 between the hours
of 7 a m and 7 p.m. for the purpose
of electing two (2) Councilmen.
This election shall be held at the
Lake City Community House on
Harper Drive.
The Voters Registration Book is
now open and will be closed at mid
night. November 22. 1967. Anyone
desiring to register must do so be
fore this date in order to vote In
the December 13th election. Qualifi
cations are now being accepted for
candidates desiring to qualify for
Councilman. The letters of qualifi
cation must be on file by midnight,
November 22. 1967.
The City Office is open on Mon
day, Wednesday and Friday from 9
a.m. until 12 noon at the Lake City
Community House on Harper Drive.
