‘Christmas isn't what it used to be.” The saying is both
true—and false, depending on area of age. A young
tot would not say it because time has not yet blurred
a memory. Christmas complaints lose gloom in the gay
glitter of gifts when children’s gaiety brings forth
adult geniality. There is no change (or should not be)
in the gladness of person to person relationships
among families and friends that helps us forget the
faults of time and people.
The mellowed sentiment of treasured memories is a
special gift at Christmas. For some, a cherished mem
ory will be a baby touching and toying, perhaps break
ing an ornament on the first Christmas tree. Or it may
be the memory of a doll being loved and mothered on
Christmas, perhaps being sassed on New Year’s
Yes, Christmas is a special time for special memories

Chiropractic
By DR. H£NRY L. FOLEY
NATURAL POWER IN
SIDE BODY — HEALTH
COMES FROM WITHIN—
Chiropractic works with nat-
ural means.
It puts
nothing new
into the body
and doesn’t
remove any
natural gland
or organ.
Chiropractic
releases life
forces within
the body and
so nature can
do its work normally.
OVERLOOK NATURAL
WAY. Most people have been
educated to look for some
thing outside to be taken in
side—or something to be
done outside, by another, to
cure illness.
They’ve great confidence
in external things, without
thought to the power inside
the body.
They expect to lie in bed,
apply heat or cold, take pjlls
or drugs, hoping that some
thing from outside will cure
something inside.
INSIDE IS KEY. We be
come ill because something
inside goes wrong. We get
well because something in
side goes right!
If the body is injured, cut,
or burned, we know an Inside
force will mend the injury.
We also know inside forces
convert food into living flesh
through body processes.
Chiropractors know that
power within restores health
when it is able to function
without nerve interference.
