KLAN STILL ACTIVE
The House Committee on
Un-American activities has
reported that the Ku Klux
Klan still had some 17,000
members in 18 states. After
a two-year study, the com
mittee said the number had
decreased but the latest
gains appear to have been in
the rioting Northern cities.
Honey production in Geor
gia during 1967 totaled 4,-
500,000 pounds. According to
the State Crop Reporting
Service, this is a nine percent
increase over the previous
year.
