$33,422,880.00 claimed as ex

upon all other property both
real and personal including the
returns to be made to all pub
lic Service Corporation to the
Controller General of the State
of Georgia, as subject to taxa
tion in said county, there will
be levied and collected county
taxes for the following purposes
to wit;
1. To pay the expenses of ad
ministration of the county gov
ernment for county purposes
due or to become due during the
ye ar or past due, Fifteen ($0.15)
cents on the One Hundred
($100.00) Dollars.
2. To build and repair the
public buildings and bridges,
Fifty-four and fifty-one hun
dreths ($0.5450) cents on the
One Hundred ($100.00) Dollars.
3. To pay the expenses of
courts, the maintenance and
support of prisoners and to pay
sheriffs and coroners and for
litigation nine ($0.09) cents on
the One Hundred ($100.00) Dol
lars.
4. To build and maintain a
system of county roads,
Twenty-one and sixty one-hun
dredths ($0.2160) cents on the
One Hundred ($100,00) Dollars.
5. For public health purposes
in said county, and for the col
lection and preservation of re
cords of vital statistics, Two
($0.02) cents on the One Hun
dred ($100.00) Dollars.
6. To pay county police, nine
($0.09) cents on the One Hun
dred ($100.00) Dollars.
7. To support paupers, Two
($0.02) cents on the One Hun
dred ($100.00) Dollars.
B.To pay county agricultural
and home demonstration agents,
Three and fifty one-hundreths
@0.0350) cents on the One Hun
dred ($100.00) Dollars.
9. To provide for payment of
old-age assistance to aged per
sons in need, and for the pay
ment of assistance to needy
blind, and to dependent child
ren and other welfare bene-,
fits, provided that no person,
shall be entitled to such as
sistance who does not qualify
/or such assistance in every
respect, in accordance with en
actments of the General Assem
bly which may be in force and
effect prescribing the qualifica
tions for beneficiaries here
under, Fourteen ($0.14) Cents
on the One Hundred ($100.00)
Dollars.
10. To provide for fire pro
tection of forest lands and for
the further conservation of nat
ural resources, Forty one-hun
dreths ($0.0040) cents on the
One Hundred ($100.00) Dollars.
11. To provide medical or
other care, and hospitalization,
for the Indigent sick people of
the county, Five ($0.05) cents
on the One Hundred ($100.00)
Dollars.
12. To acquire, Improve, and
maintain airports, public parks,
and public libraries, Five
($0.05) cents on the One Hun
dred ($100.00) Dollars.
13. To provide for workmen’s
compensation and retire mentor
pension funds for officers and
employees, One ($0.01) cent on
the One Hundred ($100.00) Dol
lars.
14. To provide for reason
able reserves for public Im
provements as may be fixed by
law, Five ($0.05) cents on the
One Hundred (SIOO/10) Dollars.
15. To pay pensions and other
benefits and costs under a
teacher retirement system or
systems, Fifty one-hundredths
(0.0050) cents on the One Hun
dred @100.00) Dollars.
16. To pay the principal and
interest of any debt of the
county and to provide a sink
