Wo are sorry to record the death of Miss Deleanor Devton, of Shoal Creek, j She had been confined to her bet! about * live months, during which time she suf-! fered immensely. Miss Deyton was aj young lady of excellent qualities, and j loved by all who knew her. She was horn April 18Gl, and departed tMs life August 2nd 1881. She had never join¬ ed any branch of tho church; but dar¬ ing her sickness made a profession of Christianity, and expressed a willing ness to bid adieu to earth and earthly things. She was interred at tho Clave* land cemetery, ac 4 o'clock on 3d last.
