On Thursday Mr. Knight conversed with
Mr. J. Madison Jones. Mr. Greon J. Blake, Mr.
John Knight, his brother, Mr. Vic Menard
and others. To them he men-

of ending his own Ufe, aaylog he
had nothing to live for. For nine years there
was a silence between him and his brother
John. On Thursoay they met, and the past
was forgotten. The two brothers held a Ion*
conversation, in which their own differences
were amicably settled, and then the debt of
Capt. Whlto was discussed. In detailing this
nasru man: "He had atone time, when Jack
White was pr« sldent of the Macon and Wes
