at any time members of any State Legisla
ture, or of any body that passed a Stato or
dinance of secession, or executive or judicial
officers of any State, and afterwards engag
ed in insurrection .or rebellion against the
United States, or give aid and comfort to
tho enemies thereof.
It will be noticed that the words “nt any
time,” apply to all who, ut any time pre
vious to the rebellion, held any of llte offices
named, some of which offices no Linger ex
ist.
