She was a kind and devoted wife and mother, and a large fami¬ ly of children and grand-chil¬ dren will llffld her in memory dear, To the bereaved we cx tend our sympathy. Mi s. Lane, wife of Dr. E. W. Lane, the present Senator from .Emanuel, died at her home last week. She was the mother of Dr. John 1. Lane of our county.
