The Board of Trustees of Byron High School have again elected Prof. E. H. Ezell as Principal of said school. The spring term will open on the second Monday in January, under as auspicious cir cumstances as ever before; indeed, more so. The standard of educa tion is. equal to the best, and with skilled ^eschars, both in literary and' : musical departments, the friends, trustees and patrons feel that they will have one of the best schools in the slate. Commissioner’s Sale. By virtue of a decree in Houston Su perior Court at April term, 1883, and supplemental decree at chambers De cember 5th, 1888, by the Judge of said Court, in the case of James W. Gibson and wife, Mary Gibson, vs. Patfick H. Gray, executor, and legatees of Benjamin H. .Gray, and by consent of all parties interested, I will sell before the court house door in Perry, Houston conn Ga., on the first Tuesday in January, 1889, between the legal hours of sale, the plantation known as The “Gray Home Place,” in the Upper Fifth district c said county, being lots Nos. eighty-fiv (85) and eighty-six(86), also nine (9lucres of lot No. seventy-one (71) opposite the dwelling house and across the road there from, containing in all four hundred and fourteen (414) acres, more or less. This land will be sold subject to a life estate of John Gray in one hundred and five (105) acres to be taken as follows: Eiglity-sis (86) acres from lot No. 86, on south side of said lot, including dwelling and out-houses; the nine (9) acres from lot No. 71, and ten (10) acres of lot No. 85, in the northwest corner, in form of a square; this 105 acres being reserved for the use of John Gray during his life, and at his death to go to purchaser.
