A few Georgia newspapers, in
Speaking of Gov. Hill’s visit to the
State, have declared their prefer

thing, but they do not speak for
the state, and their preference now
is no indication of what the pref
erence of the state will be is 1892.
Of course a great deal of the
talk in favor of Gov. Hill is very
sincere. It is based upon the be
lief that the chances of iiie election
would be better than those of Mr.
Cievelond, but the most of it—
particularly outside of the state—
proceeds from a feeling of hostili
ty to Mr. Clevelane personally. It
is therefore hardily worth consider
ing. It will be no more general
two years bence than it is now.

it will not be very long before all
the railroads in the country will
be heating their cars with steam,
and then there will be no more
such holacausts ss have horrified
the world within the last few;
