At the appointed hour, the beau tiful home was filled with friends of the bride and groom, and at 3:30 o’clock, as the sounds of Mendehl- son’s wedding fmarch pealed forth under the skillful touch of Mrs. O. M, Heard, of Vienna, the wedding party entered the parlor. First came Miss Carlos Taylor of Donnard, Ga., with Mr. ,J. M. Temples, of Summit, Ga.| next, Misp Maud Durden, of Summit, Ga., with Mr. J. Tom Dent of Macon; then the groom with his best. man,-Dr. J. R. Yaumans of Stillmbre, Ga.; then the bride with her maid, of honor, Miss ,Etta Sande- fur, of Denuard, Ga. After taking their' positions, the|most saCred ceremony was impressively perform ed by Rev. A. V. Simmess, of Val dosta, Ga., which made the two hearts to beat as one. The bride is one of our most ac complished young ladies, possessing rare traits of characte:; in fact, all qualities that are requisite in the make-up--of a typical southern lady, and her friends here regret to see her leave. The groom is a successful young dentist of his place, and is an honor able, upright and noble gentlemau, and is to be complimented in ^win ning the prize he has taken off. Miss Evie was becomingly attired in a gown of castor broadcloth and carried a bunch of violets, which seemed typical of the purity and modesty of her life. The bride’s maids wore lovely gowns of gray. The presents were pretty and use ful, and the number attested the friendship of both bride and groom. We wish for the happy couple just enough cloud's to make the sunshine appreciable. Plow Boy. -1^-0—4 To the Voters of Houston County. After thinking over the matter, I have decided I would not be doing justice to Mr. W. J.
