Subscribe for kh.3 Home Journal. The first report of heavy hogs killed in Houston comity this sea son comes from Ilollinshead in the 9th district. Tbe pigs were respectively 12 and 18 months old, raised by Mr. J. E. Davidson on the Hollinshead place and kill ed last Monday. The gross weight of the four pigs was 1660 pounds, net weight,: 1887. The individual net weight; of the pigs was 896, 343, 814 and; 284 poungs, This is exceedingly good for the; beginning of the season. We are; ready to publish the weight of other heavy Houston hogs. Mays there be many others of likef weight killed this season. —There was a full attendance; at the December meeting of th$ County Commissioners last Tuesf day. The final meeting of thd present board will be held on the fifth Tuesday, the 80th of Decem| ber, when the county business o; this year will be concluded. Mr J. J. Houser is the only membe of the present board who will b a member of the new board. None of the others were candidates fo re-election. The commissionera- eleot are: J. J. Houser, Zac Hays, E.
