Two barues on the A. J. Evans
Smoak place, on the Macon High
way near Perry were destroyed
by fire eavly Monday night.
When the flames were discover
ed by Mr. Paul Grubbs, the Super
intendent, they had made such
headway that it was impossible to
save much of I ho ooritents,
Besides a carlaadbf high-priced
fertilizer, about 1100 bushels of
corn, eight tonB of hay, and a nuin
ber of farm tools were destroyed
in the two barns. The loss is esti
mated at about $2000 partially
covered insurance.
Thirty or more people from Per
ry went to the scone of the fire

terial assistance when they ar

Harris Hardison was the star

guards on Harris but Harris was

was banished from the game on
account of personal fouls.

Perry, as announced in their ad
vertising, are offering unusual bar

on the days designated.
