The regular monthly meeting of
the Woman’s Missionary Society
was hold Wednesday afternoon at
the residence of Mrs H. E. Mar
shall.
Interesting program was render
ed by Mrs R. H. Brown. The scrip
ture lesson was taken from Gen
esis 4: 1—14. Luke 10:-22-42.
Her subject being “Am I my
brothers keeper ” The main theme
of her discussion was Social Ser
vice work.
Therefore plans were discussed
and decided upon. Her talk was
most impressive, stating that
co-operation is what we need to
carry out these plans and efforts.

“Children’s Week” has been
observed throughout the contient
for the past live years having
been promoted through the Chil
dren’s Division of the State and
Interdational Sunday School
Associations, for the purpose of
reaching more children for the
Sunday Schools', and creating
sentimen for a higher standard of
work in the Sunday Schools of all
denominations.
The program for the woek may
include a meeting for parents,
Sunday School leaders and dny
school teachers of all children of
the community for the purpose of
presenting tko need of the chil
dren’s religious education; a Sun
day School Exhibit; a house-to-
house visitation of tho homes in
the community to get the names
of children not in Sunday Schools;
a pageant or or play emphasizing
the need of religious education; a
children’s, festival of song 'or
story; institutes, of paients; and
story hours for the children.

be counted. Either the singular, or plural can be used.
5. Words of the same, spelling can be used only- once,
even though used to designate different objects. The same
object can be uumed only otiee. However, any visible part of
the object may also be named..
6. The person sending in the largest ' and nearest cor
rect list of words will win first prize. Neatness, styla and
handwriting have no . bearing upon deciding the winners.
7. Candidates may co-operate in answering the puzzle, -
but only one prize will be awarded to any, one household, nor
will a prize be awarded to more than one of auy group out
side of the family where two or more have been working to

8. In the event of a tie for any- prize offered, the full
