ding march.
The matron of honor Mrs. Wal
ter Sharp wore a beautiful pink
organdie tiimmed in black and
carried a bouquet of shasta daises.
Mr. Fallen, the best man entered
with Mrs. Sharp.
The bride was stunning in a
navy bluo cape dress trimmed with
jade green with grey accessories.
She carried a bouquet of bride’s
roses and lit lies of the valley.
The beautiful ring ceremony
was used and Rev. W. J. Church
well officiated.
Immediately after the ceremony
Mr. and Mrs. Talton left in a car
for Macon. They will tour Flori
da. After the honey-moon they
will be at home with their friends
in Deland, Fla X

come; Those who have the work
in charge say that the people of
Perry will have reason to be'proud
pt their new water works system.
AFTERNOON PARTY.
Miss Aurelia Cooper was a
charming hostess Tuesday after

Miss Jane Cater and members of
the Cator-Sargent bridal party.
The spacious home was beauti
fully decorated with cut flowers
and ferns.
Punch was served by Mrs. J. D.
Martin and Mrs. Eli/a Massee.
A unique feature of tlio decora
tion was a table holding a mina-
ture bridal party and wedding
cake.
A delicious course of ice cream
and cake, in the wedding color
scheme'of yellow and white, was
served during the afternoon. ,

the bridal party which included

A SHOWER FOR BRIDE.
The shower for the bride-elect,
Miss Carlos Heard, was an inter
esting pre-nuptual affair at the
home of Mrs. Charlie Sharp at
Grovania last week.
The guests were met at the door
by Mrs. Charlie Sharp and Miss
Carlos Heard. After the guests
arrived a contest was tried.
The guests were invited into the
dining room and Miss Heard was
blind-folded and rice was passed
around and Miss Heard was show
ered. She was given a pair of
scissors and just above the dining
table hung a basket, She cut the
string and was showered again.
During the evening an ice
cream and cake was served. X
