HOLDEN WRITES WAR MEMORIES.
Frank A Holden, well known
young Athens lawyer and recently
elected Clark county representa
tive, has written a book entitled
“W$r Memories” giving his ex
periences in the World War.
The work is a most excellent
\one. From the very first page
the readers-interest is excited to
- the highest pitch. In thh volume
I can he found valuable information
of the real life of the soldier in
wrecked villages, on the shelled
roads, in the trenches, in No
Man’s Land and in other places in
Franc6.
.All^in all, the book is one that
should be read ami kept in the
home for the' grandchilarcn to
road- It gives a true insight into
the terrible experiences of our
boys in t rance and these episodes
can only be kn nvn by reading a
book of this kind written by one
who was there.
) Most personal war books contain
much irrevelent matter that proves
Uninteresting, but this book gra
phically gives the real facts-the
human side—of the soldiers life.
; The reader is kept intensely inter-
: osted from the beginning to the
end—-a most comprehensive writ-
