debt, dated September 5th, 1922 and re
corded in the clerk’s office of the Su
perior Court of Houston county Georgia,
u deed book 82 page 98 from W L Orr
and W J Walker to Mrs Bessie L Wiigut,
will ba sold during ihe legal hours of side
on Tuesday October 9th, 1023, before the
dourt house door in Perry Georgia, at
public outcry to the highest bidder for
c»sh, the following described property;
Thattrnct or parcel of land situated,
lying and being in the city of Prrry
Georgia, being a part of letter “G” lot
Number 4 and having a front on oarroll
street of 28 feet and tunning back a uni
form width a distance of 105 feet. Said
lot having located thereon a one-story
brick and tile building now occupied by
the said W L Orr and W J Walker as a
drug store. Stud lot bounded on the north
by oarroll sir<-et; east by lot of A. A.
Smoak; Bouth by lot of L o Howard and
on the west by the Berry lot, nnd being
the Bame lot deeded to it m Holtzclnw by
George W Killen on January 12th 1904
and recorded in deed book 20 page 455
clerk’s office Houston Superior court.
Said property will be sold for the
purpose of paying a del t evidenced by a
certain protmfsory note executed on
September 5th 1922 by said W L Orr and
W J Walkor to Mrs Bessie L Wr'gkt and
payable September 6th 1923 for the
principal sum of $1760.00 and interest,
at the rate of 8 per oent per annum from
date.
The said note provided for the pay
ment of all cost of collectson, including
10 per cent of principal and interest as
attorneys fees. The total ambi nt due on
said note is $1760.00 principal and
$152.77 interest to date of .sale together
with the cost of this proceeding as pro
vided in said deed to secure debt. The
proceeds from the Bale will be applied to
the payment of said note and the cost of
this proceeding and the balance, it any,
to said W. L. Orr and W. J. Walker or
their legal representatives. A deed to the
purchaser will be made by tile under
