Brooks, sister of the bride and
Mr. W.O. Torbit, a close friend of
the groom, the young couple went
to Macon Sunday morniug and
were quietly married. Dr. Wm.
R. Owens of the First Baptist
Church of that city performing
the ceremony. After a short bridal
i trip the happy couple returned to

Mrs. Reuben Nisbet entertained
at a lovely lawn party Monday
afternoon from 4:30 to 6:30 o'clock
in honor of the seventh birthday
of her daughter, Trellis Nisbet.
Many enjoyable games were
played. The guests enjoyed'out-i
ting the beautiful cake topped
with its pretty pink candles, and
making wishes for the winsome
honoree. Delicious pink cream was
served w?th the cake. Candy favors
were-given.
Thirty five friends of Trellis
were present to help her enjoy her
bit thday.

Mrs. Alva Davis honored Miss
Roselyn Paul, who will graduate
from the Perry High School Mon
day evening, with a delightful
picnic supper at. Houston Lake
Monday night. Swimming was en
joyed in the afternoon.
