MISSES CROWELL ENTERTAINS
In the absence of Mr. and Mrs!
S. P. Crowell, Misses Frances and
Catharine Crowell entertained a
number of friends with a with a
week-end house party.
Saturday night the guests en
joyed several tables of Bridge and
Sunday and Sunday night they
ate, slepland kept merry by en
tertaining the numerous neighbors
and friends with modest gossip
Monday morning they enjoyed
a swimming party.
On Mrs. Cvowell's return she
declared them delightful house
keepers.

MISS JANE MARTIN ENTERTAINED
The home of Miss Elizabeth
Brunson was the scene of a lovely
party Monday afternoon, when her
Sunday School class entertained
in honor of Jane Martin, of Miami
Fla. a former member of the class
Interesting games were played
and at intervals puuch was served.
Later delightful ice cream and
?akes were served.

MRS. BARFIELD'S TEA
Mrs. Edgar Barfield entertained
at a lovely tea at her home last
Thursday afternoon in honor of
her guests, Miss Jewel Williams,
of Sycamore, and Miss Estelle
Waits, of Fitzgerald.
The rooms were beautifully
decorated with pink crepe myrtle
and white roses, earrying out the
color scheme of pink and white.
Those assisting in entertaining
were Mrs. Sam Crowell, Mrs. W.
L. Orr, and Mrs. C. B. Andrew,
Mrs. Clyde Gurr and Mrs. Calvin
McLendon who served punch.
The color scheme of pink and
white was evident in the delicious
iee course and mints.
About thirty-five guest called
between six-thirty and seven-thirty
o'clock.
