Miss Frances Cooper, Saturday
afternoon at her home.
The rooms where the tables
were placed were beautifully deco
rated with yellow and white
llowers, carrying out the color
scheme.
At the conclusion of the game,
a delicious salad coarse and punch
were served.
Mrs, Luctle Cooper assisted her
daughter, Miss Frances, in enter
taining.
The guests were Misses Aurelia
Cooper, Margaret Cooper, Martha
Strother, Martha Jordan, Lucile

Mrs. Conrad Miller entertained
at a lovely Bridge party Tuesday
afternoon at her Lome in honor of
her guest, Miss Katharine Thomas
of Savannah,
Beautiful pink zinnias were
used in decorating the rooms.
Delicious salad and ice courses
were served at the individual card
tables following the games.
Mrs. Felix Gunther, Jr., of
Kingsport, Tenn. was a tea guest.

Miss Ethel Holbrook and Mr.
Jeffie L. Jones were married in
the Ordinary's Office at the Court
Hoase about 10 o'clock Tuesday
morning, Rev. W. H. Lord of the
Perry Baptist Church performing
the cercmony.
A few relatives and friends and
county officials witnessed the
ceremony. The young couple are
residents of Clinchfield, tho groom
being connected with the Clinch
field Cement Corporation.
