A marriage of cordial interest
to their many friends was that of
Miss Mattie Lou Moats, of Poulan.

which took place at Sylvester.

Immediately after the marriage
ceremon>, they left for a motor
trip to Florida. They are now at
home to their frieuds at Mr. aud
Mrs. W. W. Woolfolk's residence.
Mrs. Leight. as Miss Mattie
Lou Moatei taught in the Perry
Schools for several years and she
is a great favorite with both the
children and the other teachers oi
the school. By her lovely personal
ty, she has endeared herself to
many people in Perry, who are
delighted that her marriage will
not, take her away from here.
Mr. Lcight is a master mechanic
of the Pennsylvania-Dixie Corpor
ation at Clinchfleld. He has lived
hero for about two years aud is
indeed well thought of by all who
know him.

A marriage that came as a sur
prise to their friends was that of
Mr. Cater Rogers, of Perry, to

Charles, La., which occurred Sun-1
day afternoon, December 26th, at
Tallahassee. Fla.
