The P. T. A. campaign was
very exciting. Everyone Wanted
their grade to win and

September has been
a very
eventful month for Beginners.
The First Grade emolleu thirty-

Marked progress lias been shown
during the first several, weeks of

The Methodist W. M. S. will
have a Mission Study day at the
church next Monday. The study
will begin at 11 o'clock a. m.
Lunch will be served at noon.
Mr. Wilson Martin has been
transferred from the C. C. camp
at Sucltes, Ga. to one at Sebring,
Fla. Mr. Martin spent Monday
in Perry with his parents.

BIRTHDAY PARTY
Mrs Grady Daniel honored her
daughter. Eugenia, with a birth
day party Friday afternoon at
her home near Perry. Eugenia
observed her thirteenth birthday-
on l liuisday, Oct. 11.
The Hallowe'en idea was car
ried out. m detail in the decora
tions, favois and refreshments.
Lovely yellow flowers were used
in decorating the home. The
pretty birthday cake was em
bossed in yellow aud graced the
center of the attractive tea tible
decorated with Hallowe’en figures.
