Col. Evans has returned recently
from eight months’ service in
Pacific war area. The Evans are
former residents of Perry.

on furlough, having returned re
cently from the Pacific war area.
He is the son of Mr. and Mrs.
Felix Daniel of Perry.
Miss Gertrude Frederick is a
patient in a Macon hospital where
she underwent a major operation

Miss Ada Sue Gaines of Car
tersville, Ga. is spending
several days with Misses Pauline
and Evelyn Lewis.
Betty Joyce White of Americus
spent the weekend with her
grandmother, Mrs.A.L.Meadows.
