FROM HORACE AND MILDRED
“If winter comes, can Spring be
far behind” . . . with the “funny”
weather we are having we have to
keep quoting the above to remind
ourselves that Spring and Summer
are on the way. And that reminds
us that it’s time to think about
what we are going to wear.
We have new and interesting f
fabrics to choose from in the orlon
and nylon families—the beauty of
these is that they wash so easily.
Seersucker is another love that is
back in suits . . . always a travel
“love”. Spring and Summer suits
come in soft pastel woolens, these
look so “Eastery” and will go on
thru the summer months. Then as
always we have our rayon suits
that all of us want for our basic
wardrobe. Silk shantung is here
again, the two piece suits are good
and can be dressed “up and down”
as a suit or dress ,and this time
this fabric is "spot proof.”
So with NELLY DON showing
one of the prettiest lines that she
has shown we can look forward to
shopping. (P. S. Everyone is show
ing sleeveless models). GEORGI
ANNA has such pretty pastel lin
ens along with some of the pret
tiest sun-backs we’ve seen. Then
there are LAMPL dresses you’ll
love . . . especially you golfer gals,
these come in sleeveless models
also. We found that MAJESTIC
has some of the best looking sep
arates and these are wonderful for
taller gals too.
So on and on it goes . . . new
Spring and Summer clothes. And
should you need one more thing
to finish out the season we have
a “clearance rack” to fill the bill.
Happy Shopping from Horace
and Mildred.
Mrs. W. B. Roberts, Mrs. Hugh
Lawson, Mrs. Alton Hardy and
Mrs. Charlie Logue attended a
meeting of the Rehoboth Baptist
WMU in Montezuma last Thurs
day.
