Cat Naps Are Purrfect Antidote for Fatigue
BY EDNA MILES
.'T'HE virtues of the cat nap are
*- well known to most of tis.
But it’s actually getting around
to it that’s difficult. So many
things to do, so many things to
interfere.
The housewife can’t regulate
her day nor call her time her own,
despite the charts -regularly is
sued by efficiency experts. The
home is not an office, contrary to
all arguments, and can’t be run
with the clockwork speed of an
office.
A cat nap, then, is best fitted
into the day whenever a few
moments offer. Even a ten-min
ute nap is a help. If actually
stretching put on the bed in the
daytime isn’t a tempting idea to
you, then equip yourself with a
reclining chair that offers com
fortable support in any position
from upright sitting to full re
clining.
Some of these chairs have a
built-in head roll for neck and
head support. Others have a
small, adjustable head pillow
that can be flipped out of sight
behind the chair when it’s not
in use.
Best plan is to fit a cat nap in
to your day, before you become .
overtired. This gives you the
most benefit for the least ex
penditure of time, allows you to
i get through a busy day with ease.
