June 12, in Sandersville with her
aunt, Mrs. Mattie Marsh, who was
celebrating her 81st birthday.

Commander and Mrs. Joe Davis
and children, Lynda, Gerry and
Keith, who have been stationed at
Guantanamo, Cuba for the past
year, are visiting Mr. and Mrs.
C. H. Armstrong. Commander Da
vis is retiring from the U. S. Navy
after 20 years of service.

Dr. T. B. Christian of Jackson
ville, Fla. is spending a month
with his sister, Mrs. Frank Cater,
while Mrs. Christian is on a Euro
pean tour. They left Saturday to
spend 10 days at Indian Springs.
