go on to Nazareth, Pa., for a visit

Mr. and Mrs. J. R. Davis of
Williston, Fla. announce the en
gagement of their daughter, Val
erie, to Daniel Monroe Goode, son
of Mr. and Mrs. R. B. Goode of
Newberry, Fla. The wedding will
take place Sunday, July 24 at 4
p. m. at the First Methodist church
in Williston, Fla.
Miss Davis is the granddaugh
ter of Mrs. H. A. Blackburn and
the late Mr. Blackburn of Perry.
Miss Davis is a graduate of
Williston High School. She was
voted the most talented senior
and was head majorette.
Mr. Goode graduated from New
berry High School and is employ
ed by the City of Gainesville.

perform the wedding ceremony.
