Eastman Golfers
The Perry High School golfers
defeated Eastman High, 346 to 350,
on the Perry Country Club course
Tuesday.
Norman Parker 111 led the Perry
golfers with an 81. Other Perry
scores were A1 Lasseter, 95; Mike
Grant, 86; and Bill Wadick, 86.
Eastman scores were Bert Green,
75; Bill Lowery, 89; Steve Bowen,
93; and Johnny Lee, 93.
It was the second time Perry
has defeated Eastman this season,
but neither team played good golf
in the high winds. The score in the
first meeting was Perry 312, East
man, 320.
