Funeral services for Mrs. Odell
Allen of Perry were held Tuesday,
August 18 at Brown Chapel CME
Church with the Rev. B. J. Petti
grew officiating. Mrs. Allen died
at her home Thursday, August 13.
Interment followed in the church
cemetery.
She is survived by her husband,
Caleb Allen Sr. of Perry; four
sons: Caleb Allen Jr. of New York,
Wayne Allen of Perry, Timothy
Allen of Marshallville, and Pvt.
Edward Allen of Ft. Gordon; six
daughters: Juanita, Jerrie, Dean,
Cleonie, Irene and Shirley, all of
Perry; her mother; Mrs. Augusta
Simmons of Perry; her father:
