When City Council Speaks, NOTHING Happens
THESE CARS MUST GO—Minutes of the meeting of City Council May 16,
1968, said: "It was agreed that police department notify this owner (of a ear on
Ball Street) as well as one at partially built house on Houston Lake Drive, that
these cars must be moved at once as it is against the ordinance". June has come
around and the cars were still there. Top shows the collection of junk cars on
Houston Lake Drive and the bottom photo shows the overturned car on Ball
Street. (Home Journal Photos).
