The petition of Rev Eugene F.

respectfully shows to the Court:
1. Petitioners desire to be incora
ted and made a body Corporate un
der the laws of this State, undei
the name and style of "Houstor
County Teen Haven Incorporated."
for a period of thirty-five (35 1 years,
with right of renewal as allowed by
law; with Its principal office In
Houston County . Georgia, and located
as the Board of Directors may di
rect.
2. The object and purpose of said
Corporation Is as follows: That said
Houston County Teen Haven. Inc., is
to be a Non-Denomlnatlonal, .Non-
Profit, Christian Ministry Complimen
tary to the work of the churches and
other worthwhile Youth organisa
tions: and is to be a redemptive,
counseling and preventive ministry
of the Lord Jesus Christ for the youth
of Warner Robins and area, to the
end that God may be Glorified
3. Said Corporation shall be a Non-
Profit organization and shall have
no stock certificates .
4. Said Corporation shall have the
power and authority to accept gifts
of property or money, and bequeaths
by will, if given for the promotion
of the causes for which the said
Corporation is secured All such
funds and property shall lie adminis
tered by the Board of Trustees to lie
named by the Incorporator*, and af
ter payment of necessary expenses
for the operation of said corporation,
shall be used exclusively in the per
formance of the staled ministry of
this body, being the counseling and
reclaiming of the youth of the area.

7. Said Governing body shall be
known as Trustees, and shall have
the right and privilege of adopting
such by-laws us may lie needed In
their opinion and to have, if desired,
a president, a vice president, and a
secretary and treasurer. Which cun

Trustees, Said by-laws shall provide
the term of said Trustees and the
officers, and shall provide limes lor
general and special meetings of the
group of trustees.
8, The Corporation ask for the
power to exercise the purposes of
this petition and to have such other
powers and authority as are granted
to like non-profit religious corpora
tions. as now provided by Georgia
laws, or that may hereafter be grant
ed to such corporations by arts of
the Georgia Legislature, during the
operation of this Charter.

a linen shower given by Miss
Addis Colvin and Mrs. Frances
Manship at the home of the form
er on Monday evening.
Beautiful arrangements of yel
low and green spring flowers pre
vailed throughout the rooms. The
dining table, overlaid with white
linen, held a silver bowl arrange
ment of yellow roses.
Queen size bed linens were
presented Miss Simpson by her
hostesses.
Sixteen friends of the honoree
joined her for this delightful oc
casion and were served a delic
ious salad plate.

Miss Patricia Ann Brunnin,
who received her bachelor of
arts degree at Valdosta State
College Sunday, was recognized
as an honor graduate.
To be recognized as an honor
graduate, a student must main
tain a 3.5 average for four years.
Miss Brannin is the daughter
of Mr. and Mrs. Bob Brannin.
Andrew Scott Gordon, son of
Mr. and Mrs. M. S. Gordon,
1104 East Tolleson St., was
named to the Dean’s List by
Miami University, Oxford, Ohio,
for the winter trimester.
Gordon has an average of
straight B’s and is included in
the “honor group”.
Lynn Purdom, daughter of Mr.
and Mrs. Forest Purdom of Per
ry, received a Freshman Mathe
matics Award from Delta Psi
Omega, mathematics society at
West Georgia College, Carroll
ton.
Selections were made by a'
committee of the mathematics
faculty at the college. She was
one of five freshmen to be u o
honored.
Two Perry students at Georgia
Southwestern College, Americas,
were named to the Dean’s List
for the spring quarter.
They are Patricia Barton and
Billie Thomson.
To attain this honor, a student
must have a “B” average
or better.
