New Wheat Farm Application Due Here By July 1 Farmers who would like to be considered for a "new farm" al lotment for the 1 ‘Hit) crop of win ter wheat on a farm which does not have a I9titt wheat allotment should get in touch with the ASCS county office during the next month, F. W. Langston Jr., chairman of the Agricultural Stabilization and Conservation County Committee, said today. Applications for such allotments may be filed prior to July 1. As last year, a producer to file such an application is one with a farm for which no wheat allot ment has been established and for which neither (he owner nor the operator has an interest in the wheat allotment on any other farm, who has available land and adequate equipment and facili ties for the successful production of a wheal crop on the farm, who during the last five years has had at least two years’ experi ence in producing wheat, and who as an operator expects to receive more than 50 per cent 1 of his current year’s income from the total production on the farm (not including the antici pated income from wheat produc ed on a "new farm" allotment). Other factors are also involv ed, and it is suggested that in terested producers discuss the details with officials at the ASCS county office. The Chairman said that formal application for a "new farm" wheat allotment u*y be made by filing a written ap plication at the ASCS county of fice prior to the July 1 deadline.
