Centerville Man Records Hit Song
A young man who was
born and reared in Center
ville, Georgia, attended Per
ry High School and later the
University of Georgia and
was known to is fiends as
Larry Thomson is now a re
cording artist known as L.
T. Thomson.
As far back as he can re
member, country music has
been a part of L. T.’s life.
He went to Florida two years
ago w£ere he sang in var
ious clubs and for private
parties. After much prompt
ing from his friends and as
sociates, L. T. went to New
York to cut his first record.
After finishing his record
ing, he set out on the long,
heart-breaking task of find
ing a recording company
willing to promote an un-
- known artist. The right com-
P pany was finally found, and
* his first recording, “I’ve
Found Someone Who Loves
Me” is now on the record
stands and, he hopes, is be
ing promoted by D. J.’s.
At present, L. T. is in
New York preparing to cut a
new record of songs he
wrote himself. He has ex
pressed gratitude to every
one who has helped in his
struggle up the road to suc
cess.
