LEFT TO RIGHT: JIM BUSBEE, JIM SMITH AND JIM BROWN. Jim Smith
of Perry and Jim Busbee of Fort Valley are presented first prize (S2O) for winning
the "Pants Race"—held at the Perry-Fort Valley Airport on Sunday. Smith was
Pliot and Busbee was Copilot of the Cessna 172 which made the best time to But
ler Airport and return. First runner up in the very close race was David Andel of
Perry in his Tripacer. The boys had to fly to Butler, deplane and change their
"pants". All aircraft were handicapped according to rated true air speed. Jim
Brown says that more fun and excitement is being planned for you at your airport.
