Perry Man Killed
In Accident Here
Funeral services (or Randall
Alien Williams, 18, of Perry,
who was crushed to death
Thursday afternoon after being
pinned beneath a car near here
wiere held at 11 a. m. Satur
day in the chapel of Walson-
Hunt Funeral Home with Rev.
W. A. Hill officiating. Burial
was in Perry Memorial Gar
dent.
Pallbearers were James
Tharpe, Ronnie Scott, J. Har
vey Rackley. Gale Edwards,
Joe Hill and Billy E. Hunter.
Houston County Sheriff's dep
uties said that Williams and
Walter Lee Alford, 29, also of
Perry, employes of a local gar
age, were pinned beneath the
car which slipped from a truck
cable hoist. Officers said Al
ford received a broken pelvis
and was taken to Macon Hos
pital.
The accident was discovered
when the garage owner, Chuck
Rogers, could not contact the
two by radio, then drove to the
spot about two miles north of
here.
Young Williams, a lifelong
resident of Perry, is survived
by his widow, Mrs. Mary Wat
son Williams. Perry; his par- i
ents, Mr. and Mrs, Robert A.
Williams, Fort Valley; three
brothers, Terry Williams, Jerry
Williams and Mike Williams,
all of Fort Valley: and his
grandparents, Mr. and Mrs,
Thomas Williams of Bonaire,
and Mrs. Lewis Justice of Ma
jestic, Ky.
