Thirty guests enjoyed this lovely affair. Miss Ragan is the daugh ter of Mrs. Hugh Ragan Sr. Mr. Maine is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth W. Write a letter to The Home journal. This truck, owned by Penn Dixie Cement Corp., Georgia Power Co. could get the extensive damage re everturned early Wednesday morning on Main Street in paired. The truck, which was loaded with cement, had to front of the City Water Works. The driver, who not in- be pumped out before it could be turned upright and jured, clipped down three power poles when the truck towed away. It was reported that the loaded truck weigH turned over. City for about four hours until fast working crews from (Wofford) Sinyard, Jr.) DEATHS Mr. Moody Funeral services for Cliff Abbott Moody, of Rt. 4, Eat onton, were held Wednesday in the First Baptist Church in Perry with Rev. J. M. Te resi and Rev. Dan Hodges of ficiating. Burial was in Ever green Cemetery. Pallbearers were B. B. Col lier, Ed Pierce, Wilson Moo dy, Cecil Moody, James E. Batchelor, and William Dent. Mr. Moody was a native of Crawford County and had lived in Macon for a number of years. He was a retired carpenter and a member of the Mikado Baptist Church in Macon. Survivors include his wid ow, Mrs. Mary Joyner Moody of Eatonton; two sisters Mrs. A. D. Culpepper and Mrs. Nell Hamlin, both of Perry; one brother, Frank Moody of Perry; two sons, Joe Moody and Olin Moody, both of Per ry; one daughter, Mrs. Mar guerite Archer of Macon; and 16 grandchildren. Mr. Peek Services for William Sterling Peek. 87, who died in a Perry hospital Thursday after a long illness, were held in Walson- Hunt Funeral Home Chapel Friday at 4 p, xn. Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery. Mr. Peek, a native of Ran dolf County, Ala., had lived in Perry since 1923. He was a re tired chemist for Penn-Dixie Corp., and was employed there for 25 years. He was a mem ber of the Christian Church • Disciples of Christ) of Crag ford, Ala. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Earlie B. Peek of Clear water, Fla.; three daughters, Mrs. George B. Wells Sr. of Perry, Mrs. Martha Daniels of Clearwater, Fla., and Mrs. Au die Sullivan of Orlando, Fla,; two sons, Stell Peek of Warner Robins and Curtis Peek of Per ry; and eight grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. Watson-Hunt Funeral Home was in charge. Mr Watson Funeral services for Osborn Dinson Watson, 50, were held Saturday at 3 p. m. at Perry First Baptist Church with Rev. A. B. Barnhill and Rev. J. J. Morrow officiating. Burial was in Woodlawn cemetery. Pallbearers were Charles Watson, J. W. Watson, Edward Watson, Milton Watson, Paul Watson and Charles Self. Hon orary pallbearers were em ployees of Penn-Dixie Cement Corp. Mr. Watson was a native of Houston County, and had lived here all his life. He was em ployed by Penn-Dixie Cement Corporation, He was a member of the Oakland Baptist church and a Veteran of World War 11. Watson, all of Perry: two sisters, Mrs, Lewis Mur ner of Bonaire, and Mrs. N. G. Webb of Montezuma: two brothers, Tom Watson of Coch ran and Arthur Lee Watson of Warner Robins: his mother, Mrs. Daisy Watson of Monte zuma; and one grandchild. Watson-Hunl Funeral Home was in charge. Mrs. Roon Services for Mrs. Jacob M. Roon, 54, who died Saturday in a Houston County hospital, were held at 2:30 p. m. Tues day in the Haeberle and Barth Funeral Home in Union, N. J., with burial in the Hollywood Memorial Park. Mrs. Roon, the former Helen Ruth Durmer, was born in New Jersey. She had lived here for six months, coming here from New Jersy. Site was a member of the First Congregational Christian Church. Survivors include her hus band, Jacob M. Roon, Perry; one son, Barry 1, Roon, Green ville, S. C.; her mother, Mrs. Grace Durmer of Cape Cod, Mass.: one sister, Mrs. Jack Bell of Cape Cod; and one brother, James Durmer of Ri vera Beach, Fla.
