District Court in Minnesota has declared that the constitutional rights of two high school girls were violated when they were not allowed to compete on their school athletic teams. The Court reasoned that the girls had achieved a high level of competitive skill and they should not be denied the right to compete by the absence of a girl's team. RECREATION SCOUTS Dots Lose The Bonaire Bombers I downed the Ferry Dots in a * "B" League game by 18 to 12. Felicia Allen was the losing pitcher allowing 10 hits, while the winning pitcher for the Bombers. Lynn Davidson, gave up 9 hits. Felicia Allen led the Dots 2 for 4. Also batting for Perry were Sharon Roundtree, Phyllis Glover, Jackie Hodges, Jennifer Allen, Catherine Alford. Chandria Woodard, Wanda Stokes and Vickie Jackson. B’Cats Roll The Perry Jr. League Bearcats downed the Warner Robins Braves 11 to 6 and then walloped the Warner Robins Angels 12 to 3 in a doubleheader at Sewell Circle Park. Rosemary McGhee was the winning pitcher in the first game and Ethel Scott was the leading hitter with 2 for 2. In the second game Carolyn Askew pitched for the Bearcats and allowed only 3 hits. Carolyn and Shershina Jackson led Perry with 4 for 4 each. Other Perry players were Shirley Askew, Vivian Askew, Wanda Clarington, Monica Mobley, Vivian i Harding, Linda Rawls, Katherine Lumpkin, Bar i visions of furniture placement areas. This room is divided from the foyer by attractive open rail. Cougars Win Doug Rembisz gaining momentum with each game pitched threw a sharp two hit job against the Warner Robins Falcons as the Sr. league Ferry Cougars won 6 to 3. Rembisz allowed a double in the second and a single in the 7th. He struck out eleven en route to his win. Wayne Roberts fired the Cougar offense with 2 hits. Earl Brown and Dean Bramlett added a hit each. Perry players were Jaru Ash. David Thomas, Larry Bonner, Joe Andrews. Mo Wright, Jerry Barnes, Al Soloman and Steve Miller. Cougars Romp Perry’s Sr. League Cougars were excited over the sensational one hit pit ching job by their team mate, Joe Andrew. Bonaire Braves were the victims losing by 6 to 0. The lone Brave hit was a sixth inning single by Keith Purser, Andrews fanned 8 gave 4 walks and hit one. Jerry Barnes led the Cougars with 2 hits. Jaru Ash, Earl Brown, Wayne Roberts, Dean Bramlett all had a Cougar hit.
