FORECLOSURE
SALE OF REAL ESTATE

WHEREAS, on April 2, 1968,
Ottia D. and Wilma Jean Rutledge
did execute and deliver to Family
Home Services, Inc., a certain
deed to secure debt recorded in
Deed Book 301, folio 104, Clerk's
Office, Houston Superior Court;
and
WHEREAS has been a
default in the terms and con
ditionsof the said security deed in
the payment of which said default
has authorized and occasioned the
exercise of the power of sale
contained therein;
NOW, THEREFORE, pursuant
to the terms of said security deed,
and in the exercise of the power of
sale contained therein, the un
dersigned will offer for sale to the
highest bidder before the cour
thouse door in said county on the
first Tuesday in July, 1973, during
the legal hours of sale the

debtedness due and payable, and
pursuant to the power of sale
contained in said deed, will on the
first Tuesday in July, 1973, during
the legal hours of sale, at the
Courthouse door in Houston
County, Georgia, sell at public
outcry to the highest bidder for
cash the property described in
said deed, to wit:
All that real estate situated and
being in Land Lot 136 of the Fifth
Land District of Houston County,
Georgia, and being designated as
Lot 28, Block A, Section 1,
Westover Hills Grove Manor
Subdivisions, according to a plat
thereof made by Story & Broxton
Surveying Company on April 25,
1968, a copy of which is recorded
in Plat Book 12, Page 81, Clerk's
Office, Houston Superior Court,
reference to said plat being for the
purposes of showing the metes,
bounds and dimensions of the
properly herein conveyed. Said
Lot 28 in Block A fronts 80 feet on
the southerly side of Prairie
Boulevard and runs back in a
southerly direction between
parallel lines a distance of 130
feet.
Also included in this con
veyance is one water heater, one
range, one venthood, carpet, one
clothes washer, one clothes dryer
and one refrigerator.
This, the above described
property will be sold as the
property of GERALD L.
SPANGENBURG AND EDNA
SPANGENBURG and will be sold
subject to restrictive covenants
applicable to said subdivision,
easements of record and 1972
taxes.
The proceeds of said sale will be
applied as provided in said deed to
secure debt, and the undersigned
will execute a deed to the pur

October 16, 1967, Roger H. Davis
and Hugh L Howell did execute to
Citizens State Bank, a certain
security deed which is of record in
Deed Book 293, page 180, Clerk's
Office, Houston Superior Court,
on the following described
property, to wit:
All that real estate situate, lying
and being in the Fifth Land
District of Houston County,
Georgia, and being a portion of
Lots 1)5, 116, 117 and 118 in Block
13 of the Town of Wellston, as
shown on a plat of survey in Map
Book 1, page 283, Clerk's Office,

interest at the rate of 8 percent

tioned notes have become in

indebtedness due and payable in
accordance with the terms of said
deed and the notes secured
thereby; and pursuant to the
power of sale contained in said
deed, there will be sold by the
undersigned, at public outcry,
before the courthouse door of
Houston County, Georgia, on the
first Tuesday in July, 1973, same
being July 3, 1973, within the legal
hours of sale, to the highest bidder
tor cash, the above described
