with Mrs. Irby’s parents, Mr,

Mrs. Patsy Watson and Pam
spent Tuesday night with Mrs.
W.F. Overton.

They were dressed alike in
turquoise full length gowns
with cowl necklines, long tight
fitting sleeves. They wore
large white picture hats with
turquoise bands and
streamers and carried
nosegays of mixed flowers.
Sherrilyn Jackson of
Warner Robins, niece of the
bride, was flower girl. She
wore a long deep pink dress
trimmed with white em
broidered lace and short
puffed sleeves. Reginald
McCoy of Perry, nephew of
the bride, was ring bearer.
The bride, given in
marriage by her father, chose
a long white satin dress with
white bodice, long puffed satin
and lace sleeves and a long
white lace train. Her fingertip
veil was of white lace and net.
She carried a bouquet of white
flowers.
For her daughter’s wedding,
Mrs. McCoy wore a lime green
street length lace dress with
long sleeves and a white
carnation corsage. The
groom’s mother chose a pink
lace street length dress with
long sleeves and a white
carnation corsage.
Kasper-Odom To
Wed Here Nov. 30
Mrs. Kenneth V. Kasper of
Perry announces the ap
proaching marriage of her
daughter, Paula Jean Kasper,
to Charles Gregory Odom.
Miss Kasper was graduated
from Whitefish Bay High
School in 1969 and attended the
University of Wisconsin at
Milwaukee. She is currently
attending the University of
Georgia.
The bride-elect is the
daughter of the late Kenneth
V. Kasper.
Mr. Odom is the son of Mr.
Charles A. Odom of Winter

The bride's parents en
tertained with a reception at
their home following the
ceremony. Mrs. Mary
Jackson and Mrs. Essie M.
Clark greeted the guests.
The bride’s table was
covered with a white linen
cloth decorated with pink
tapers and garlands of pink
and white flowers. It was
centered with the three tiered
wedding cake embossed with
blue flowers and topped with a
miniature bride and groom.
Miss Pat McCoy cut and
served the wedding cake.
The refreshment table was
covered with a pink and white
cloth with a crystal punch
bowl and pink tapers as its
decorations. Miss Vera Askew
and Mrs. Sara Fluellen
presided at (he punch bowl.
Others assisting with en
tertaining and serving were
Mrs. Minnie Fluellen, Mrs.
Lonnie Willis, and Mrs. Betty
Bradley. Miss Celestine
Askew kept the bride’s book.
When the couple left for a
short wedding trip, the bride
was wearing a lime green
pants suit. Mr. and Mrs, Davis
will reside in Warner Robins.

Florida.
The groom-elect is a 1970
graduate of Winter Park High
School, attended Abraham
Baldwin College in Tilton. He
is to complete requirements
lor a B.S. degree in hor
ticulture at the University of
Georgia in December.
Their wedding will take
place November 30 at St.
Christophers at the
Crossroads Episcopal Church
in Perry, Georgia.

Pink Ladies Continue Good Work
The Perry Hospital Pink Ladies recently donated S6OO to the hospital to go
towards the purchase of a television video cassette with sound. Above is Pansy
Gordon, outgoing Pink Ladies president, presenting the check to Hospital
Administrator Max Poole. The cassette will be used to give on the job training
to all parts of the medical fraternity at the hospital, with the exception of
physicians. Special cassette video tapes will be ordered for a “Restorative
Nursing Care’’ series, and a “Safety’’ series.
