The “Circus of Arts N
Crafts” will be held at the
National Guard Armory this
Saturday, from 10:00 A.M. till
7:00 P.M. Over sixty booths
will be filled with something to
interest everyone. There will
even be a clown there to help
entertain the children.
Children under 12 will be
admitted free when with an
adult.

Mrs. Maxine Marshall,
Assistant Cashier and Branch
Manager, and Mrs. Mary Ann
Norris, Assistant Cashier and
Internal Auditor, of The Bank
of Perry have been elected to
membership in the National
Association of Bank Women,
Inc., it was announced
recently by Mrs. Margaret
Hux, Chairman of the Mid-
Georgia Group of NABW. Mrs.
Hux is an Officer of The First
National Bank and Trust
Company, Macon, Georgia.
Membership in the National
Association of Bank Women,
Inc., is open to women who
hold executive and official
positions in banks, trust
companies, and savings
banks. The objectives of the
association are to bring
together women executives
engaged in the profession of
banking for the interchange of

Enjoy Tour
To Savannah
Eighteen members and
twenty-two friends met on
Thursday, March 13, for a trip
to Savannah to tour the
historical city and to dine at
several of the cities famous
restaurants.
Hostesses for the trip were
Mrs. A.C. Prtichett, Mrs.
W.K. Whipple, Mrs. S.A.
Nunn, Mrs. J.N. Buff.
Mrs. W.B. Evans, president
of the club, welcomed the
group before they departed on
the tour.

worthwhile projects are
planned for our community by
the Idaka Club and proceeds
from the show will go toward
these projects,

wings and is now a Flight
Attendant with Delta Air

Pauline S. Allen, Perry, she
completed the four-week
course at Delta’s Training
School at the Hartsfield
Atlanta International Airport,
and is now proudly wearing
the chic uniform of the
nation’s sixth largest airline
She is based in Atlanta, Ga
Miss Grace is a graduate of
Clark College, Atlanta, Ga.,
with a B.A. degree in Political

The Annual Old Book Sale
sponsored by the Friends of
the Library, Inc., of Macon,
Georgia, will be held on the
Mall of Westgate Shopping
Center, Pio Nono Avenue,
South Macon, on Friday and
Saturday, April 11 and 12 The
hours for the sale will be 10:00
until 9:00 on Friday and 10:00
until 6:00 on Saturday.
Books for the sale have been
contributed by interested
persons in the Middle Georgia
area and include reference
books, novels, biography,
history, children’s books,
poetry, hobbies, and many
others Also included are a
large number of quaint books
which are now out of print.
All proceeds from the sale
go toward supporting projects
of the Friends of the Library,
which inciude adding
reference books and copying
machines to the local
libraries, placing book
depositories in several
locations in the city, and
making contributions to a
children’s library at the
Medical Center of Central
Georgia.

promoted to Assistant Cashier
and Branch Manager for The
Bank of Perry.
Mary Ann joined The Bank
of Perry staff in September,
1973, after having been
associated with The Citizens
Bank of Washington County in
Sandersville, Georgia, since it
organized in 1964. Mary Ann
served in the Main Office of
the bank as Assistant Cashier
until April, 1974, when she
assumed the additional

Miss Sue Bullington, who is

College, has been named to

William Roy Andrews of

senior majoring in computer
science at Rensselaer
Polytechnic Institute, has
made dean’s list for the fall
1974 semester. Approximately
1,500 of RPl's 3,700 un
dergraduate students earned
at least a 3.0 grade average
out of a possible 4.0 entitling
them to dean’s list
recognition.
